Welcome to the The HydeOut (formerly the Blue Bird Cafe) Web Site.

As many of you may know, we lost our restaurant business of 19 years to a fire in June, 2010.  I am happy to announce that we will begin again thanks to some dear friends of ours.  Effective January 1, 2011 we acquired the business of the Blue Bird Coffee Cafe.  Everything will remain the same in the beginning as we adjust to new dishes and new hours.  By the end of the month we hope to add our favorites from Seafood HydeAway to the menu bringing back your fried, boiled, popcorn shrimp, and catfish strips, etc.  It will be an adjustment.  We hope you will work with us as we go through this learning period.  We look forward to our new business venture and serving our customers again.

We strive to provide the best food anywhere accompanied by the highest quality service.  Please take the time to look over our menu; we believe you will find something you like or if you are an adventurous sort, please try one of our daily specials.

All gift certificates for both Blue Bird Coffee Cafe and Seafood HydeAway are still redeemable.
